2023 International Conference on Computing and Pattern Recognition (ICCPR 2023) was held in a hybrid mode of online and onsite during October 27-29, 2023 in Qingdao, China. The conference is sponsored by Ocean University of China, endorsed by International Association of Pattern Recognition (IAPR), supported by Beijing University of Technology, East China Normal University, Tiangong University, Xiamen University of Technology, Shenzhen University, Wayne State University, China University of Petroleum (East China), Qingdao University of Science and Technology.
During the conference, more than 100 experts and scholars from the China, Japan, Norway, India, Thailand, USA, etc. attended the conference. The aim of ICCPR 2023 is to provide a platform for all of the participants in a constructive discussion on Computing and Pattern Recognition and related topics and exchange idea.
The General Chair, Prof. Junyu Dong from Ocean University of China gave the welcome address. The General Chair, Prof. Umapada Pal (IAPR and AAIA Fellow) from Indian Statistical Institute delivered the opening remarks. They extended warm congratulations and welcome to the conference. Then Prof. Xiao-Jun Wu from Jiangnan University, Prof. Junyu Dong from Ocean University of China, Prof. Yi Yang from Zhejiang University, China shared their research work by keynote speeches. Assoc. Prof. Qiufeng Wang from Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, Prof. Chunjie Zhang from Beijing Jiaotong University, Assoc. Prof. Feng Gao from Ocean University of China, Prof. Lin Zhang from Tongji University, Assoc. Prof. Xiaobo Jin from Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, Prof. Lei Han from Ocean University of China, Assoc. Prof. Xiao Wang from Beihang University, Assoc. Prof. Qing Cai from Ocean University of China, Assoc. Prof. Shu Zhang from Ocean University of China, Dr. Meng Xu from Shenzhen University, Dr. Yuan Cao from Ocean University of China, Assoc. Prof. Yanbei Liu from Tiangong University Prof. Yangli Jia from Liaocheng University, Prof. Yanfeng Li from Beijing Jiaotong University, Assoc. Prof. Feng Liu from Shenzhen University, and Dr. Wentao Feng from Sichuan University delivered invited talks.
6 oral sessions, 1 poster session and 3 online session were successfully held under the joint efforts of session chairs and all presenters. They are broadly grouped in topics on "Target Detection and Algorithms”, “Pattern Recognition and Intelligent Recognition Technology”, “Image Segmentation”, “AI based Intelligent Computing Design and Model Analysis”, “Intelligent Image Processing and Multimedia Technology”, “Image Model and Analysis”, poster session “Intelligent Image Detection and Computing Mode”, online session “Image Detection, Recognition, and Registration Model ”, “Digital Image Analysis and Processing Methods”, “Embedded Image Acquisition Device and System Design”, “Information Management, Network System Optimization and Data Calculation Based on Data -Driven”, Experts and scholars from all over the word shared and reported their research results. Finally, 9 Best Oral Presentations were selected by Session Chairs, and 2 Best Papers were selected by the conference organizing committee. The information for Best can be found here (Click).
Experts and scholars shared their research in two special sessions which topics included "Marine Artificial Intelligence" and "Quantum Deep Learning".
